National Association for Rights Protection and Advocacy
Eva Dech
Eva is a trauma survivor; a survivor of the mental health, child welfare, and juvenile justice systems. Eva has been involved in human rights activism and advocacy for over two decades. After years of developing and working within peer support, she came to believe the path to healing and recovery was through relationships, creating opportunities for empowerment, and building connected, inclusive, and supportive communities. She continues to be a vocal activist for the rights of young adults, parents with psychiatric disabilities, and the need for widespread implementation of trauma-informed practices.
