Al Siebert is Director of the Resiliency Center and an adjunct professor at Portland State University. He is a psychiatric survivor, and author of The Survivor Personality. He has delivered keynote addresses at the Pennsylvania Consumer rights conference, at Oregon's psychiatric consumers/suvivors conference, and at the Radford College Summer Institute for Health Care Professionals, and has presented workshops at many conferences, including the conference held by the International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology. A short version of his personal survivor story will be published in Dr. William Glasser's next book "Psychiatry May Be Dangerous to Your Mental Health" published by HarperCollins.
