Al Siebert, Ph.D.

Al Siebert became a happily enlightened psychiatric survivor after he received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Michigan and was awarded a two-year, post-doctoral NIMH fellowship at the Menninger Clinic. A short version of his illuminating adventure appears in William Glasser's book Warning: Psychiatry Can Be Hazardous to Your Mental Health. Siebert is host of the www.SuccessfulSchizophrenia.com website, and is Director of the Kenneth Donaldson Archive for the Autobiographies of Psychiatric Survivors. He is internationally known as the author of The Survivor Personality and Director of The Resiliency Center. He is now distributing review copies of his book, A Schizophrenia Breakthrough: Progress Toward Freeing Our Minds from Our Mind.
