Bill Stewart is the outgoing NARPA president. He has worked as a school social worker, protective services worker, juvenile services worker, school psychologist, clinical psychologist, and Headstart program coordinator. He was in trouble most of the time in those jobs. He worked for the Kentucky Protection and Advocacy program for 17 years, the last 14 as the supervisor of the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness section. He retired in 2001.
